Mr Willy Harrison Muyila is a distinguished Malawian scientist, standards expert, and business leader with over 30 years of experience across industrial chemistry, quality infrastructure, standards, and conformity assessment. He previously served as Deputy Director General at the Malawi Bureau of Standards, where he led Malawi’s first laboratory and certification accreditations (ISO 17025 and ISO 17021) under EU/UNDP-supported programmes, and played a key role in strengthening national quality and standards systems.

Mr Muyila is currently the Founder and CEO of Agency for Conformity Assessment and Business Solutions (ACABS) International, working with MSMEs and institutions to improve product standards, compliance, and export readiness. His work has included collaborations with UNDP, UNIDO, PTB Germany, FAO-IAEA, SADC, and Illovo Sugar. He is also passionate about capacity building and innovation, he also supports young innovators through the Mapogoro Innovation Centre, helping develop practical, low-cost solutions with real-world impact.
